This mirror has specific fitment requirements! IMPORTANT: THIS KIT WILL REQUIRE MODIFICATIONS TO YOUR VEHICLE'S EXISTING MIRROR WIRING HARNESS AND IT WILL ONLY WORK ON THE VEHICLES IN THE LIST BELOW AND ON THE COMPATIBILITY LISTING THAT ARE EQUIPPED FROM THE FACTORY WITH THE GNTX-931 AUTO DIM ONLY MIRROR, FORD PART NUMBERS BU5A-17E678-LA, FU5A-17E678-TA, FU5A-17E678-TB, FU5A-17E678-TC, FU5A-17E678-TD OR FU5A-17E678-VA. This kit will allow you to add backup camera display to a vehicle that currently does not have a factory backup camera system (camera is not included - see our other listings for a kit paired with a camera), or, if your vehicle already has a factory backup camera display in the 4" or 8" display on the dash, this kit will allow you to add a 2nd camera, such as a cargo or trailer camera that is activated when the vehicle's transmission is placed in reverse. May also be used for a front-facing camera; however, some wiring modifications would need to be done to your vehicle for such purposes. Listing is for the mirror & video cable with proper terminals attached that fit the OEM Ford/Lincoln 16 pin mirror connector & installation hardware. Instructions on how to install the video cable wires into the existing factory mirror connector & the reverse light wire relocation instructions will also be included. Mirror has been tested & works great.
This mirror is used, so it may show some minor signs of wear or use however, most of our mirrors are in excellent shape & look very much like new!! We want to be sure that you know what you're getting, so we are always more than happy to answer your questions. If you do not, please have this professionally installed - just about any mechanic, car dealer or stereo shop can put these in for you. It's not worth risking damaging your vehicle.
